LOTE (EC-12 Spanish & Oral Proficiency Test)
The LOTE-Spanish EC-12 content area
allows you to teach Spanish at the elementary school through high
school level, kindergarten through 12th grade.
Requirement for Admission:
Individuals applying for the LOTE-Spanish EC-12 certification area
should have a minimum of 12 semester hours of college coursework in
Spanish related courses.
Alternatively, you can take the #613 LOTE-Spanish EC-12 TExES
certification exam if you don’t meet the minimum hour requirement.
