Science
The Physical Science 8-12 content
area allows you to teach science in 8th grade and all physics
and chemistry courses in 9th grade through 12th grade.
Requirement for Admission:
Individuals applying for the Physical Science 8-12 certification
area should have a minimum of 12 semester hours of college
coursework in science related courses (chemistry and physics
classes).
Alternatively, you can take the #137 Physical Science 8-12 TExES
certification exam if you don’t meet the minimum hour
requirement.
