The Health EC-12 content area allows
you to teach health at the elementary through high school level,
Early Childhood through 12th grade.
Requirement for Admission:
Individuals applying for the Health EC-12 certification area should
have a minimum of 12 semester hours of college coursework in health
related courses.
Alternatively, you can take the #157 Health EC-12 TExES
certification exam if you don’t meet the minimum hour requirement.
