7-12 Speech
The Speech 7-12 content area allows you
to teach speech communications at the junior high and high school
level, seventh grade through twelfth grade.
Requirement for Admission:
Individuals applying for the Speech 7-12 certification area should
have a minimum of 12 semester hours of college coursework in speech
related courses.
Alternatively, you can take the #129 Speech 7-12 TExES certification
exam if you don’t meet the minimum hour requirement.
