The EC-12 Special Education content
area allows you to teach English resource, math resource, science
resource, social studies resource, content mastery, inclusion or life
skills at the elementary though high school level, Early Childhood
through 12th grade.
Minimum GPA of 2.5 in 24 semester hours, in any combination of core
courses to include at least:
- 6 hours of English
- 3 hours of mathematics
- 3 hours of natural science
- 3 hours of social studies
Note: GPA must be 2.5 or higher using
one of the three evaluation methods – overall GPA, last 60 hours, or
by content hours.
