The 8-12 History content area allows you
to teach social studies in 8th grade and all history courses in 9th
grade through 12th grade.
Minimum GPA of 2.5 in 24 semester hours of history, in any combination
of core courses to include at least:
- 6 hours of history
- 3 hours of government
- 3 hours of economics
Note: GPA must be 2.5 or higher using
one of the three evaluation methods – overall GPA, last 60 hours, or
by content hours.
