The Physical Education EC-12
content area allows you to teach physical education at the
elementary through high school level, Early Childhood through
12th grade.
Requirement for Admission:
Individuals applying for the Physical Education EC-12
certification area should have a minimum of 12 semester hours of
college coursework in kinesiology or sports related courses.
Alternatively, you can take the #158 Physical Education EC-12
TExES certification exam if you don’t meet the minimum hour
requirement.
