Web-Centric Alternative Certification Program (WCACP)
The Web-Centric Alternative Certification Program utilizes distance learning to prepare individuals with bachelor’s degrees for a teaching career in the state of Texas. WCACP is an accelerated route to becoming certified at any school district, accredited private school or charter school throughout Texas.
The statewide online program allows you to teach anywhere in the geographic boundaries of the state of Texas. This allows flexibility if a spouse or family member is transferred to another location in Texas.
The 100% online state approved program utilizes online curriculum, chat sessions and videoconferencing meetings to prepare teaching candidates for their one-year teaching internship. The project oriented learning environment helps teaching candidates transition into a successful teaching career.
