The Web-Centric Alternative Certification Program (WCACP) is 100% online, which allows candidates to complete assignments and coursework in the comfort of their own home. The program does not require candidates to attend face-to-face workshops or seminars like traditional alternative certification programs.
Online classes are divided into small groups to allow for candidates to provide correspondence and feedback with other candidates in the program. Cohort groups are selected according to grade level and subject area certification, encouraging a collaborative learning experience for all candidates and interns.

My experience with Web-Centric has been a great one. Even though the entire process is over the internet, the facilitators still provide a warm and welcoming environment that fosters the learning and development for beginning teachers.
Blair O'Connor, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD
Web-Centric has been a great experience! I loved that I could go as fast or as slow as I needed because sometimes life gets in the way. The preparation for the tests was fantastic - I was able to pass all my tests the first time thanks to the guidance provided. The entire experience was easy to follow and very informative.
