Program Components

The Web-Centric Alternative Certification Program (WCACP) is 100% online, which allows candidates to complete assignments and coursework in the comfort of their own home. The program does not require candidates to attend face-to-face workshops or seminars like traditional alternative certification programs.

Online classes are divided into small groups to allow for candidates to provide correspondence and feedback with other candidates in the program. Cohort groups are selected according to grade level and subject area certification, encouraging a collaborative learning experience for all candidates and interns.
