After being out of college for 3 years
and having to get my alternative certification to teach high school, I
couldn\’t be happier with the Web-Centric Program. If you follow along
and do all the work they ask of you the tests will not seem near as hard
and the transition into the classroom will be a breeze. The mentor work
they have you do is a major help and the ideas with technology expand
your ideas of teaching tremendously. I recommend the Web-Centric Program
for anyone who is looking to have a wonderful first year of teaching!

I loved that I could go as fast or as slow as I needed because sometimes
life gets in the way. The preparation for the tests was fantastic - I

very positive. I really love that you can go at your own pace and
everything is done electronically. I really enjoyed the chat classes and

curriculum is up to date and current with what is happening in the
classroom. When you call they always respond promptly with superb

At first, I was a bit hesitant to go with
Web-Centric because I felt that it is important to have "real-life/in
person" exchanges in education, especially coming from a small
university where I knew all my professors personally. I decided to go
with Web-Centric because of the flexibility it offered with classes and
scheduling. I have a two year old daughter, and it concerned me that I
would have to be gone until late at night at least twice a week for
classes.
I am so glad that I chose Web-Centric! Not only has it provided me with
that flexibility, but my expectations have far been exceeded when it
comes to personal attention. Nancy and Bob helped me with a lesson I had
to do for a job interview on very short notice, and it was great!
Gabriel was so helpful in helping choose what area to get certified in,
and also in setting up my deductions while considering that I was hired
late. Betty has always been so helpful with any forms that I had
questions about, too. Courtney has been amazing at helping me prepare
for my exams and encouraging me as my first year got off to a rough
start.
I can only say that although I have been teaching for only a few months,
I probably would not be where I am now without all the help, advice, and

My experience with Web-Centric
Alternative Certification Program was absolutely remarkable. I am a
product of the traditional learning environment and was skeptical about
the entire online learning experience. I was pleasantly surprised and
quite impressed with the level of customer service, test preparation
support, and online learning.
Transitioning from the traditional learning environment into the online
learning environment can be frightening at best. However, through their
caring customer service Web-Centric made my transition practically
seamless. From the registration throughout the entire process they never
made me feel like a nuisance or a problem. I specifically recall one
occasion (of a few) when I experienced a financial hardship and needed
some assistance; they worked with me patiently to find a reasonable
resolution.
Additionally, Web-Centric provided an effective support network. There
were several colleagues on my school campus that were a part of the
program. We all shared the same apprehension about the state
administered certification tests. In an effort to assist with our test
preparation, Web-Centric not only provided books and study materials
they also provided a tutor on our school campus three days a week. The
test taking skills and techniques provided by the tutor coupled with the
study material was instrumental in my ability to pass both of my tests
on the first attempt.
Lastly, through online learning the program allowed me to achieve my
professional goals while attaining home work life balance. I was able to
attend a course at anytime from anywhere. As a single parent, full time
employee, and active member of the community the flexibility and
convenience of online learning was invaluable to a lifestyle as
demanding as mine.

you for making my experience simply amazing. My transition was smooth,
your customer service was superb and I was able to maintain a
well-balanced life both personally and professionally as I pursued my
teaching certification.
