Can I begin the alternative certification program if I live out of the State of Texas?
Yes. You can begin the alternative certification program while living outside of Texas. Keep in mind you must complete your 12 month teaching internship at an Independent School District, TEA recognized private school, or charter school in Texas. You will be required to pass the Pre-Admission Content Test (PACT) to be considered for acceptance into the online program.
