Clinical Teacher Placement

To ensure optimal placement in your desired Independent School District, TEA recognized private school, or charter school, you will need to make sure you submit your clinical teaching application as early as possible. You will be given access to apply for a clinical teaching placement once you have started the online program.

Although you might already have a teacher lined up for your placement, WCACP must go through the proper channels with each district to set-up your CT placement. This process can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks.

We are very flexible in allowing you to cancel your clinical teaching assignment if you are offered a full-time teaching position. Up until 7 days before your assignment begins, you will be able to accept a full-time teaching position for your internship and still have the flexibility to cancel your clinical teaching assignment.
