Certification Process

Program Eligibility

	Meet requirements listed on the admission requirements section
	Graduating seniors can start the program (see contingency admission section)

Certification Areas

	You must pass your TExES certification exam for admission (take via the PACT)
	Additional areas are added to your acceptance letter based on your college transcripts

Online Training

	All training sessions are conducted online
	Preparation for a successful transition into the classroom
	Preparation for your Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities (PPR) exam

Become Certified

	Complete one-year teaching internship or clinical teaching assignment
	Become a certified teacher in the state of Texas
