Web-Centric Alternative Certification Program (WCACP) - a state-approved educational entity created by educators with over 60 years of combined experience in Texas schools. The online program was launched in 2005 with the intention of being a spring board for candidates entering the teaching profession. WCACP prides itself on customer service and the ability to build the necessary foundation for candidates to successfully transition into the teaching profession. Accreditation Web-Centric ACP is a state-approved educational entity that is accredited to prepare highly qualified candidates to transition into a Texas classroom. Candidates enrolled in the program can teach in any of the 20 regions in Texas during their internship or clinical teaching assignment. Streamlined Process The online program has continuous enrollment that allows you to begin the program without waiting for a designated class date. The quick turnaround will enable you to quickly complete state requirements needed to apply for open teaching jobs within weeks of starting the online program. Curriculum/Online Classes The curriculum is self-paced, which allows you to complete the coursework at a time of your convenience. During the program, you will be exposed to a combination of work at your own pace modules, online classes, and mentoring assignments during your field experience.
