The 4-8 Mathematics/Science content
area allows you to teach mathematics or science at the middle school
level, 4th grade through 8th grade.
Minimum GPA of 2.5 in 36 semester hours, in any combination of
mathematics and science courses to include at least:
- 12 hours of upper level mathematics
- 9 hours of physics and or chemistry
- 6 hours of biology
Note: GPA must be 2.5 or higher using
one of the three evaluation methods – overall GPA, last 60 hours, or
by content hours.
