The 4-8 Mathematics/Science content
area allows you to teach math or science at the 7th and 8th grade
level.
Requirement for Admission:
Individuals applying for the Mathematics/Science 4-8 certification
area should have a minimum of 6 semester hours of college coursework
in math related courses and a minimum of 6 semester hours of college
coursework in science related courses.
Alternatively, you can take the #114 Mathematics/Science 4-8 TExES
certification exam if you don’t meet the minimum hour requirement.
