The Mathematics 4-8 content area allows
you to teach math at the 7th and 8th grade level.
Requirement for Admission:
Individuals applying for the Mathematics 4-8 certification area
should have a minimum of 12 semester hours of college coursework in
math related courses (this can include statistics classes).
Alternatively, you can take the #115 Mathematics 4-8 TExES
certification exam if you don’t meet the minimum hour requirement.
