The 4-8 Generalist content area allows
you to teach any one or a combination of English, math, science and/or
social studies classes at the middle school level, 4th grade through
8th grade.
Minimum GPA of 2.5 in 24 semester hours, in any combination of core
courses to include at least:
- 6 hours of English
- 6 hours of mathematics
- 3 hours of natural science
- 3 hours of social studies
Note: GPA must be 2.5 or higher using
one of the three evaluation methods – overall GPA, last 60 hours, or
by content hours.
